On Tuesday 8 June 2010 Cambridge Assessment hosted an event to say thank you and farewell to the ARG on the occasion of its retirement. Held at Downing College, Cambridge, it provided an opportunity to reflect on the contribution that the ARG has made to assessment policy and practice, both in the UK and beyond. With a view to the future, the Group offered reflections on what makes for successful assessment reform, encouraging a broader debate on the topic.
